Acquedolci Carnival (Nebrodi Carnival)

2025 Edition

The 2025 Acquedolci Carnival brought life to Acquedolci, on the Tyrrhenian coast of the Nebrodi, with the usual calendar of parades spread between February 22nd and March 9th. The papier-mâché floats built by local artisans traveled along Corso Italia and Via Ricca Salerno, accompanied by masked groups, dancers, and musicians, amidst confetti and sweets.

As is tradition, the festival was led by the official mascot Doroteo and concluded with the awarding of the Doroteo Prize to the most beautiful float, voted on by the popular jury, and the honoring of the best masked group.
