Ten Days of Celebration in the Baroque Center

From August 2 to 10, 2025, Acireale hosted an edition of the Carnevale a Tavola with a strong international flair. For the first time in its history, the event brought together works from the carnivals of Acireale, Viareggio, Putignano, Sciacca, Misterbianco, Nice, and Venice.

Guest Floats

Among the works on display were the monumental "Satisfaction" float by Viareggio master Luca Bertozzi dedicated to the Rolling Stones, an installation by Acireale artist Matteo Raciti, the piece "Siamo fuori dal gregge!" by Francesco Lippolis from Putignano, the "Queen of Nice," and historical costumes from the Venice Carnival displayed at the Town Hall.

Taste, Music, and Cinema

The food area at Largo Giovanni XXIII featured cooking shows and tastings of Terre di Aci products. On the musical front, Piazza Duomo hosted the Etna Afro Festival, a concert by Il Pagante (August 8), and a show by Eiffel 65 (August 9). The festival concluded with the "Night of the Sketches" and the presentation of the 2026 floats.
