Acireale Carnival

The 2025 Acireale Carnival was held from February 15th to March 4th, enlivening the Baroque historic center of the town near Catania. The parades of grotesque papier-mâché allegorical floats and floral floats took place on February 15, 16, 22, 23, 28 and March 1, 2, 3, 4, with the most spectacular moments occurring on weekends and during evening parades. Alongside the parades, the event featured masked groups, brass bands, street performer acts, an exhibition of miniature floats at the Teatro Maugeri, concerts in the main squares, and activities dedicated to children, once again confirming its reputation as the "most beautiful Carnival in Sicily."
