Aci Castello Summer of Myth, Art and Culture

The 2025 edition of the festival was presented in a press conference on June 13, 2025, in the council chamber of the Municipality of Aci Castello. The program, titled Aci Castello 2025 — Summer of myth, art and culture, revolved around the Festival between Verga's Genius and the echoes of Myth, one of the season's flagship initiatives, which transformed the town and its villages into an open-air theatre from June 26 to September 8.

Among the proposed shows were the theatre production Sponde e storie del castello by G. Ferro, the tribute to Lucio Dalla Dalla Parte di Lucio, and the concert by Luca Madonia, in addition to theatrical productions such as Don Giovanni in Sicilia, Approdi, le donne di Ulisse, and Venere dell'Etna. The events mainly took place between Piazza Castello, the Aci Trezza slipway, and the Norman Castle, enlivening the summer of the Riviera dei Ciclopi for residents and tourists.
