Edition 2025 — Giorgio Ceccarelli Prize

The fourth edition of the Accordion Festival and the Giorgio Ceccarelli International Prize took place in Abetone Cutigliano from August 28 to 31, 2025, with about forty contestants from Italy, France, Germany, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine. Four days of concerts, auditions, and meetings across churches, mountain huts, and squares of the Pistoia Mountains, concluding with the proclamation of the winners in Piazza dell'Acerone in Pian degli Ontani.

The fourth edition of the Giorgio Ceccarelli International Prize was held in Abetone Cutigliano from August 28 to 31, 2025, under the artistic direction of Maestro Tiziano Chiapelli. The festival attracted about forty contestants from various European countries, distributed across the numerous categories of the accordion and organetto competition.

Performances and public meetings took place between August 28 and 30 in various locations across the municipality, while contestant selections were held in the church of Madonna di Piazza between August 30 and the morning of August 31. The final day, August 31, saw the proclamation and performance of the winners at 3:00 PM in Piazza dell'Acerone in Pian degli Ontani. Other venues for the event included the church of San Rocco in Rivoreta, the Grande Baita in Doganaccia, and the parish church of San Bartolomeo.
