Edition 2025 — Du Botte Festival
The 6th edition of the Accordion and 'Du Botte' Festival took place in Fraine on August 12, 2025, organized by the Pro Loco Fraine. The event was one of the highlights of the village's summer calendar, which opened on August 10 with a series of cultural and recreational initiatives that enlivened the Alto Vastese village.
The evening celebrated the Abruzzese diatonic accordion, the famous "du botte", with gatherings of musicians, folk music, and traditional dances. During the 2025 summer program, the community also awarded the "Ruggero da Fraine" prize, a recognition linked to the enhancement of the territory and its roots. The event confirmed Fraine as one of the strongholds of folk tradition in the Chieti hinterland.
