Edition 2025 — Accademia Festival

In July 2025, the Accademia Festival held its fifteenth edition in Saracinesco, continuing the formula that has combined advanced musical masterclasses and concerts in the Aniene Valley village since 2011. Young musicians from all over Italy studied piano, strings, winds, and chamber music with teachers from the Accademia Musicale Romana, then performed in concerts open to the public.

The 2025 edition of the Accademia Festival confirmed Saracinesco as a small summer capital of advanced musical training in the Lazio region. As per tradition, the festival brought students and masters together in the Monti Ruffi village for days of intensive study, culminating in evening concerts and the final concert with the presentation of certificates.

The event, organised by the Municipality of Saracinesco with the Accademia Musicale Romana, offered masterclasses dedicated to piano, violin, guitar, wind instruments, and ensemble music, giving participants the opportunity to perform during the festival. An event that paved the way for the sixteenth edition, scheduled from 3 to 12 July 2026.
