Edition 2025 — Ventricina Trophy

The 2025 edition of the Accademia della Ventricina Trophy, the fourteenth in the series, confirmed the event's mission: a mountain bike race on the hills of Scerni, in the province of Chieti, combining sport with the promotion of traditional products from the Vastese region. Once again, the dirt track through the trails of Scerni attracted teams and enthusiasts from the Abruzzo hinterland, with the customary convivial finale based on Ventricina.

The Ventricina Trophy in 2025

In 2025, the Accademia della Ventricina Trophy renewed its mountain bike appointment in Scerni, in the hinterland of the Chieti province. As per tradition, the race took place on a dirt circuit through the hills and trails of the municipal territory, open to amateurs of the UISP categories. Organized by Polisportiva Casalbike with UISP Ciclismo Abruzzo e Molise, the event combined the competitive challenge with the promotion of the hills of Scerni and the typical product that gives it its name, the Ventricina del Vastese, the star of the pasta party and the final prizes reserved for the top finishers and the largest teams.
