Abruzzo Irish Festival

The 11th edition of the Abruzzo Irish Festival, organized by the Innocent Smith association, brought Notaresco (province of Teramo) to life from August 29 to 31, 2025. Numerous bands from the folk and Celtic scene took turns on stage, including Valkanorr (winners of the Montelago European Celtic Contest), Andrea Rock & The Rebel Poets, Folkamiseria, and Bards from Yesterday, alongside traditional Irish sessions and a DJ set by Umberto Palazzo.

In addition to the music, the 2025 edition offered over one hundred meters of Celtic and fantasy market stalls, fire and juggling shows, historical combat, axe throwing and archery, Irish dance workshops with the Rois Dance School from Rome, and re-enactments by the Antico Olmo clan. Among the year's novelties were the tattoo area and the medieval-fantasy Comix & Games space, as well as an esoteric corner with tarot cards and fortune tellers. Concerts began every evening at 9:00 PM. Admission cost 9 euros on Friday and Sunday and 10 euros on Saturday, with free entry for those under 16, over 70, and people with disabilities.
