Abruzzese Prosciutto Festival 2025 — 56th edition

The 56th edition took place in Basciano (Teramo) from August 6th to 10th, 2025 and was the first to bear the Sagra di Qualità mark from the UNPLI. The event opened on Wednesday, August 6th, with the inauguration of the stalls, the Laccio d'Amore folk group, and a concert by the Tequila e Montepulciano Band.

The following evenings featured performances by the 883 & Max Pezzali Tribute Band, a concert by I Musici, and, closing on Sunday, August 10th, the Jovanotti tribute "Pensieri Positivi". On Friday, August 8th, the musical heart of the festival took place: the Ddù Botte Organetto Festival, with selections, semi-finals, and finals, the awarding of trophies, and the Giuseppe D'Antonio Prize dedicated to the memory of Maestro Rocco Fortunato. There was no shortage of bicycle excursions in the hills, tournaments, scholarship awards, and the traditional final lottery.
