Edition 2025 — Abete Festival
In June 2025, Rotonda renewed the ancient tree rite of the Abete Festival in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, with the transport of the two trees from the Pollino woods and the final raising in the square, amidst faith, tradition, and local cuisine.
The 2025 edition
In 2025 too, the Abete Festival animated Rotonda with its age-old rite: the transport of the beech tree "'A Pitu" and the fir tree "'A Rocca" from the Pollino woods, with the strength of oxen and the choral participation of the community, and the raising of the two joined trees in the village square. The festival, in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, confirmed the strong bond between Rotonda, its mountain, and its traditions, accompanied by the typical flavors of the Pollino.
