Edition 2025 — Abendkonzert Musikkapelle Katharinaberg

During the summer of 2025, the Musikkapelle Katharinaberg once again brought its brass music to the villages of Val Senales with free open-air evening concerts. The Monte Santa Caterina band, a group rooted in the community since 1953, enlivened summer evenings with marches, concert pieces, and traditional South Tyrolean folk melodies, consistent with their tradition of performing in Maso Corto (Kurzras) at the end of the valley.

The 2025 evening concerts in Val Senales

Throughout the summer of 2025, the Musikkapelle Katharinaberg performed its open-air music in Val Senales (Schnalstal), within the municipality of Senales, in the province of Bolzano. The traditional Abendkonzerte of the Monte Santa Caterina band, with free admission, accompanied summer evenings with marches, concert pieces, polkas, and traditional Central European waltzes. These events confirmed the vitality of a group founded in 1953 and deeply connected to the life of the valley community.
