ABC School Film Festival 2025 — 3rd edition

The third edition of the ABC School Film Festival was held in Bari in May 2025 at Cinema ABC. The program opened with a preparatory review titled "Masters of Contemporary European Cinema," featuring ten films by directors such as Tornatore, Almodóvar, Wenders, Kaurismäki, and Ken Loach, screened during the school year to guide classes in discovering cinematic language.

In the final phase, students who authored the best essays — five from each school, selected by teachers — made up the jury tasked with choosing the winning works from among the Italian films and Apulian short films in competition. The edition confirmed the formula that characterizes the festival: putting young people at the center, not as mere spectators but as critics and jurors, in a project supported by the National Cinema for Schools Plan and the Puglia Region.
