A Village and its River

The 2025 edition of A Village and its River marked an important milestone: the 25th anniversary of the event. From June 5 to 8, the Sacco district in Rovereto hosted over thirty events including exhibitions, shows, guided tours, workshops, and convivial moments, distributed according to the widespread format that made the courtyards, hallways, small squares, and private spaces of the village the protagonists.

The Palio delle Zattere, in its 22nd edition, was held on Sunday, June 8, in the stretch between Brancolino and the Moia. Ten crews competed—Dazio, Isera (defending champion), Navesel, Piazza, San Donà di Trento, San Giorgio, Torre, Verza, Zattieri, and Zigherane—and victory went to the San Giorgio crew, before the customary festive parade through the streets of the village. The event is organized by a committee of volunteers led by president Lucio Dama.
