A Veglia in Piazza – Fried Food Festival

The 8th edition of the Mixed Fried Food Festival of Limite sull'Arno was held on August 29, 30, and 31 and September 8, 12, 13, and 14, 2025 in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the village of the Municipality of Capraia e Limite (FI), in collaboration with Venvia, the new management of the Casa del Popolo.

The food stands opened from 8:00 PM, with a menu of fried fish, local products, and traditional Tuscan specialties; in case of bad weather, the event moved inside the Casa del Popolo. Each evening was enlivened by DJ sets and karaoke, and on September 8, after dinner, the public was able to witness the Palio con la Montata, the challenge between the districts of Limite with eight-oared boats and the final rope climb on the nearby Lungarno.
