A Park of Music and Other Stories

In 2025, "A Park of Music and Other Stories" launched its fourth consecutive summer program at the Medici Park of Pratolino, promoted by the Metropolitan City of Florence and the Municipality of Vaglia with the coordination of Music Pool. Over 30 events enlivened the weekends from June to September, featuring classical music, jazz, theatre, and dance.

Participants included the Orchestra della Toscana Foundation, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Florence Dance Festival, the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, and Arca Azzurra Teatro. Featured artists included the Rose dei Venti clarinet quartet (August 2, music by Henry Mancini and Ennio Morricone), Matt Elliott (August 3), the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina conducted by Giuseppe Lanzetta (August 30), and La Chute Orchestra (August 31). The shows, with free admission, were accompanied by guided tours of the park and the opportunity to dine at the Locanda.
