A Night at the Colosseum 2025
The 2025 edition of A Night at the Colosseum reopened the monument's evening doors starting Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Tours were held every Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with the last entry at 10:30 PM, in groups of up to 25 people.
The guided tour, lasting about 60 minutes, wound through the first tier, the arena floor, and the underground, focusing on the story of the Colosseum from the perspective of the spectators and the protagonists of the shows, including hunts (venationes) and gladiatorial combats (munera). A highlight of the 2025 edition was the display of the stone head of a gladiator known as "Gallus," coming from the Amphitheatre of Verona.
