A Mountain of Books Literary Festival

The first edition of the A Mountain of Books Literary Festival was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Monzuno, marking the birth of a new literary event in the Bolognese Apennines. The direction was entrusted to Marcella Nigro and Loris Arbati.

The day featured literary salons with the participation of authors such as William Bavone, Giorgia Bruni, Fausto Campana, Antonio Dottori, Paola Mattioli, Moreno Mojana, and Rita Repetto. The festival included the literary competition 'I Remember Green Mountains', dedicated to the theme of the Apennines. The awards ceremony, held at Acatù – Rifugi Solidali Appenninici after an aperitif, saw the three finalists receive a certificate of merit and some local products. The enthusiasm registered, exceeding expectations, paved the way for the second edition.
