Edition 2025 — A mezza voce

The 2nd edition of A mezza voce was held in Manduria between late December 2024 and January 4, 2025, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The Ensemble Orfeo Futuro, under the artistic direction of Gabriele Natilla, offered concerts dedicated to 17th-century instrumental and vocal music, featuring plucked instruments, arias, and Neapolitan-style musical jokes, all with free admission.

The second edition of A mezza voce expanded the festival calendar, spreading early music concerts between late December 2024 and the first days of January 2025, in the setting of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Manduria. For this edition, artistic direction was again led by Gabriele Natilla, with the Ensemble Orfeo Futuro guided by Gioacchino De Padova.

Among the most acclaimed events were the concert "Schietto come perla - The 17th Century in plucked instruments in Italy, Spain, and France", dedicated to the repertoire for plucked strings, and "Scherzi musicali alla napolitana - The three violins and the foundation instruments", a tribute to the Neapolitan instrumental school. The free concerts confirmed the festival's vocation to combine philological rigor with accessible listening, bringing great early music into an intimate and evocative context in the heart of Messapian Puglia.
