In Sarnico, a pearl of Lake Iseo in the province of Bergamo, spring brings one of the most beloved food and wine events in the area: Un Lago diVino. For two days, the historic centre and Lungolago Garibaldi transform into a grand tasting trail, where the wine excellences of Franciacorta and Valcalepio meet the public in a setting of extraordinary beauty.
Over 200 labels and many wineries
The heart of the event is the tastings: about forty wineries from the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia gather on the lakeside promenade, ready to offer tastings of over 200 labels. Franciacorta sparkling wines and Valcalepio reds are the stars, accompanied by guided tastings and insights into the world of wine, including the anticipated masterclasses.
Not just wine
Un Lago diVino is also about culture, music, and gentle sport. The programme includes photography exhibitions, live music, presentations – such as that of the Guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oils by Slow Food Editore – and the characteristic e-bike tours along the lake shores. The evenings come alive with "Fuori un lago divino" (A Divine Lake Out), which brings the celebration to the lakeside venues with glasses and good music.
A spring appointment
A historic event on the Sarnico calendar, Un Lago diVino is the perfect opportunity to discover the great wines of the Bergamo and Brescia region in a unique setting. Sarnico, with its lakeside promenade and historic centre overlooking Lake Iseo, welcomes enthusiasts and the curious for two days of taste and conviviality.
A Lake of Wine — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Un Lago diVino takes place in Sarnico on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May. The historic centre and Lungolago Garibaldi host around 40 wineries from the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, with over 200 labels of Franciacorta and Valcalepio for guided tasting.
Among the events are the Sparkling Wine Masterclass at the Pinacoteca Gianni Bellini, the "Ti regalo un consiglio" (I give you a piece of advice) photography exhibition, e-bike tours, the presentation of the Slow Food 2026 Guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oils, and the "Fuori un lago divino" evenings with music in the lakeside venues.

- 3:00 PM: Event opening and start of the e-bike tour; opening of the "Ti regalo un consiglio" photography exhibition

How to get there
Sarnico is located on the Bergamo side of Lake Iseo, reachable by car via the SP469. Tastings take place on Lungolago Garibaldi and in the historic centre.
Tastings and masterclasses
