In 2025, the "La Lucerna 2" Senior Social Centre, the association that promotes the event, was already a well-established entity in the Municipality of Torrecuso, in the province of Benevento, engaged in social and community activities for the elderly. The Torrecuso summer, as every year, revolved around the town's events, starting with the historic Vinestate wine festival at the end of August. It is within this associative fabric that the idea of bringing the games, flavours, and music of yesteryear back to the square matured.
