Edition 2025 — Palma alle Armi A.D. 1615

The fiftieth-anniversary edition confirmed Palma alle Armi as Southern Europe's largest 17th-century reenactment: over 1,200 re-enactors, field battles, military encampments, and the Palmanova fortress entirely dressed in 17th-century style to celebrate half a century of the event's history.

The 2025 edition marked an extraordinary anniversary: half a century of historical reenactment in Palmanova. The fortress-city once again transformed into an open-air theater with over 1,200 re-enactors, military maneuvers, encampments, period markets, and the historical tavern at Bastione Garzoni.

The two field battles, the flag-raising ceremony in Piazza Grande, and the nocturnal flag-lowering by torchlight with fireworks marked a weekend that drew a large crowd to Bassa friulana, coinciding with the celebrations for the event's fiftieth anniversary.
