Edition 2025 — Palma alle Armi A.D. 1615

The 50th-anniversary edition confirmed Palma alle Armi as the largest 17th-century re-enactment in Southern Europe: over 1,200 re-enactors, field battles, military encampments, and the Palmanova fortress entirely dressed in 17th-century style to celebrate half a century of the event's history.

The 2025 edition marked an extraordinary anniversary: half a century of historical re-enactment in Palmanova. The fortress-city once again transformed into an open-air theater with over 1,200 re-enactors, military maneuvers, encampments, period markets, and the historical tavern at the Garzoni Bastion.

The two field battles, the flag-raising in Piazza Grande, and the night flag-lowering by torchlight with fireworks marked a weekend that drew a large crowd to the Bassa friulana, intertwined with the celebrations for the event's 50th anniversary.
