Edition 2025 — Traviata da cortile

A Courtyard Traviata is a new production that debuts in 2026: in 2025 the show had not yet been performed. Alessandro Baricco's project, conceived with Domenico Procacci and IMARTS, was created to bring Verdi's Traviata out of theatres and transform it into an immersive popular festival, choosing Colorno and the Teatro Regio di Parma as the venue for its absolute debut.

In 2025, A Courtyard Traviata had not yet taken place: the performance is in fact a new production that saw the light of day in May 2026 with its debut in Colorno, in the province of Parma. The project conceived by Alessandro Baricco with Domenico Procacci and IMARTS was designed to profoundly renew the relationship between opera and its audience, breaking down the separation between stage and stalls. The choice of the Teatro Regio di Parma, the heart of Verdian tradition, gave the initiative particular symbolic value.
