A Comet in the Village

The 2025 edition of "Una Cometa nel Borgo" renewed the appointment with the living nativity scene of Dragoni, in the province of Caserta. In this edition too, the village came alive thanks to the participation of the community and the reconstruction of the Nativity in the spaces of Villa De Pertis, a 17th-century historic residence in the ancient center.

Along the route, visitors met traditional characters and ancient crafts — from the carpenter to the blacksmith, from the washerwoman to the pasta-making housewife — accompanied by Christmas carols, music, and tastings of typical dishes. The animals and activities dedicated to children completed an experience designed for the whole family.

Promoted by the Sette Contrade association with the patronage of the Municipality of Dragoni, the event confirmed its vocation as a community festival, capable of uniting tradition, spirituality, and a sense of belonging to the Alto Casertano territory.
