A cena di mangiare

In 2025, A cena di mangiare was held on Saturday, June 28, with a meeting point in Piazza del Popolo in Marliana. From 7:30 PM, participants walked through the streets of the medieval village, sampling a seven-course menu: Tuscan appetizers, cold spelt salad, pappa al pomodoro, polenta with local wild boar, frittata, grilled sausages with Marliana beans, and local castagnaccio, with plenty of water and wine. The adult menu was priced at €15, and the children's menu at €7. Along the route, amidst the medieval views of the village, there was no shortage of live music, performances by street artists, and a craft market. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Marliana, in the province of Pistoia.
