80 Voglia di Musica – The Night of the Lira

The third edition of The Night of the Lira, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, attracted a huge crowd to San Benedetto del Tronto, so much so that it is remembered as the record edition. On the main stage of Piazza Giorgini, symbols of Italian and European music alternated: Dik Dik, Tracy Spencer, Cecilia Gayle, P. Lion, and Johnson dei Righeira, for a journey through timeless beats, dance, and group dances.

Musical entertainment was spread throughout the event area with performances by the bands Zenigata (Lucio Battisti covers), Orchestra della Mezzanotte, The Holograms, and One Band. After the live sets, people danced until late at night with DJ sets by Simon, Antonio Sacco, and Sakura. From 7:00 PM, the children's area was active with workshops, face painting, and games by the Italian Red Cross, as well as exhibitions dedicated to stamps, postcards, vinyl records, coins, and banknotes in lire. Admission was free and open to all.
