Edition 2025 — 25 Hours for Peace

The XXV edition of the 25 Hours for Peace confirmed in May 2025 the formula that has enlivened the Helder Camara Oratory in San Polo d'Enza for years: a 25-hour charity marathon with sports, performances, music, culture, and gastronomy. In this edition too, the proceeds from the numerous activities were donated to solidarity projects, in line with the community's spirit of welcome and sharing.

25 Hours for Peace 2025

In May 2025, the Helder Camara Oratory in San Polo d'Enza (RE) hosted a new edition of the 25 Hours for Peace, the non-stop charity marathon promoted by the Pastoral Unit Terre del Perdono. For an entire day and night, youth football, volleyball, and basketball tournaments, performances of rhythmic gymnastics, roller skating, and dance, musical moments, and cultural offerings alternated, accompanied by the ever-present food stalls.

True to its educational message, the event relaunched the idea of peace built with simple, everyday gestures, involving children, families, and volunteers from the Enza Valley. As is tradition, the proceeds were used to support local and international solidarity causes.
