Second edition: "Destination Love"

In 2025, the competition founded in memory of Francesco Valdiserri addressed the theme of sentiment as seen by twenty-somethings, under the title Destination Love — sentiment in the age of Generation Z. There were 433 submissions: over 130 Italian short films and about 300 works from every continent, a sign of a resonance already well beyond national borders.

From WeGil to the Auditorium

The journey was divided into four semi-final evenings hosted at WeGil, the Lazio region's cultural space in Trastevere, culminating in the final on May 8, 2025, in the prestigious Sala Sinopoli of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. The jury was chaired by Paola Cortellesi, who took over from Paolo Virzì, who had led the inaugural 2023 edition. That year, all screenings were also free of charge.
