Edition 2025 — Concetta Vitali Memorial

The Concetta Vitali Memorial – Coppa Ionica Road Race was established in 2026 with its first edition; therefore, no actual 2025 edition took place. The event follows the tradition of amateur cycling in Syracuse and the Coppa Ionica CSAIn Sicily project, which took shape in 2026 as a traveling circuit among the island's municipalities.

The origins of the event

The Concetta Vitali Memorial – Coppa Ionica Road Race held its first edition in 2026: there is therefore no 2025 edition that actually took place. The race carries on the legacy of the vibrant amateur cycling scene in the province of Syracuse and is linked to the new Coppa Ionica project, launched by CSAIn Sicily to bring road and medium-distance races to the villages of the Ionian coast. The Cassibile stage, organized by the ASD Cannibale Team, marks the village's entry into the regional amateur cycling calendar.
