The 2025 Edition
The 1. Maifest 2025 was held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at Lacusplatz in Laces (Latsch), in the Vinschgau Valley. The festival opened its doors at 11:00 AM, with music accompanying the afternoon and festivities lasting until the evening.
As per tradition, the central moment was the raising of the maypole (Maibaum), around which dancing and social gatherings took place. There was no shortage of stalls with culinary specialties from the Vinschgau Valley. The event, organized by the Bildungsausschuss Latsch, inaugurated the 2025 Latscher Kulturtage. In case of bad weather, the indoor venue of the CulturForum was planned.
Programme
May 1st, 2025 — Lacusplatz, Laces
- 11:00 AM — Opening of the festival in the square.
- Afternoon — Live music, raising of the maypole (Maibaum), and dancing.
- Evening — Continuation of the festivities with South Tyrolean specialties.
