The Treviso Rugby Tournament Under 14 is dedicated to one of the most important categories in the rugby development path: that of fourteen-year-old boys and girls. Organised by Benetton Rugby, it complements the historic city mini-rugby tournament, completing Treviso's offering for youth rugby.
Where it's played
The matches take place at the La Ghirada Sports Centre, Benetton's 'City of Sport' in Treviso, equipped with numerous fields that allow dozens of teams to play simultaneously. The event involves both the male and female sectors of the Under 14 category.
An international event
The tournament attracts teams from all over Italy and from several foreign countries, confirming the international vocation of Treviso sport. Over a thousand young players gather for two days of intense competition, but in the spirit of rugby values — respect, loyalty, inclusion — making Treviso and the Marca Trevigiana a reference point for the youth oval movement.
Treviso Rugby U14 — edition 2026
The fourth edition of the Treviso Rugby Tournament Under 14 took place on Saturday, May 9th, and Sunday, May 10th, 2026, at the La Ghirada Sports Centre in Treviso. 52 teams participated, divided into 42 male and 10 female formations, for a total of approximately 1,176 young players and 207 matches played over two days.
There was a strong international presence, with teams arriving from Romania, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine. In the men's category, Benetton Rugby emerged victorious. Around the field, an impressive organisational machine: about 200 people involved, over 3,000 meals served, and dozens of buses for transporting delegations.
