Teams and athletes
Organized by the Tronca family, the tournament attracts about ten teams and over two hundred athletes from Molise and surrounding regions. The final is traditionally played on the afternoon of the festival, before the evening celebrations, intertwining sport with the devotional and popular dimension of the Madonna del Carmine.

More than just a competition, the tournament is a moment of gathering that involves the town's youth and families, an integral part of Riccia's summer calendar and the patron saint's celebrations of the Fortore area in Molise.
