About StraLegnanese
A city that runs
StraLegnanese is the amateur running event of the Municipality of Legnano (Province of Milan), organized by the historic club U.S. Legnanese 1913. It is not a competitive race but a free-pace run, designed to involve families, amateur athletes, and enthusiasts of all levels.
The routes
Two courses are planned, on the same route but with a different number of laps:
- 5 km (one lap)
- 10 km (two laps)
The start and finish are in Piazza IV Novembre, in the heart of the city. The first thousand registered participants receive the official bib of the StraLegnanese.
A celebration for the city
The 2026 edition took on a special significance, as part of the celebrations for the 850th anniversary of the Battle of Legnano. Despite the rain, over 1,200 runners took to the streets of the city center, confirming StraLegnanese as one of the most anticipated sporting and popular events of the Legnano spring. An event that combines sport, social interaction, and city identity.
