A festival since 1939

The Sagra di San Lorenzo is the historic parish festival of Torrebelvicino, in the province of Vicenza, and takes place every year in July. Founded in 1939, it is an event deeply rooted in the community of Val Leogra, managing to renew itself with each edition with ever-increasing participation.

The kingdom of fried food

The true specialty of the house, loved for generations, is fried food: the dish around which the entire event revolves. The food stand covers over a thousand square meters of covered area in Via Antonio Fogazzaro, ensuring seating even in case of bad weather. Alongside fried dishes, the menu offers traditional Venetian cuisine in a convivial atmosphere.

Music, sport, and fun

The festival's program is designed for all ages: musical evenings with various genres, sports tournaments (including the characteristic soap football), inflatable games and activities for children, as well as the traditional lottery with rich prizes. A mix that makes the Sagra di San Lorenzo a focal point of the Torrebelvicino summer.

A village festival

Organized by the parish community with the patronage of the Municipality of Torrebelvicino, the Sagra di San Lorenzo is much more than a gastronomic festival: it is an event of identity that brings the village together and supports its activities, keeping alive a tradition that has lasted for over eighty years in the Vicenza foothills.
