Masks, confetti, and fun for families
The Ghedi Carnival (Province of Brescia) is the festival that every year, on a Sunday in February, fills the town with masks and joy. Organized by the Oratory of Ghedi, the event is designed primarily for families and children, who liven up the streets and squares of the center with their colorful costumes.
The Ghedi Carnival offers the typical moments of carnival tradition:
Promoted by the Oratory, the Carnival has a strong community and social value: it is the occasion when the community of Ghedi comes together for a day of carefree celebration, keeping alive a tradition that, throughout the Brescian plain, marks the cheerful period preceding Lent.
The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, February 8, organized by the Oratory of Ghedi. Amidst masks, confetti, entertainment, and games for the little ones, the Carnival colors the town center in a day of celebration for the entire community. Updated information is published on the Oratory's social media channels.
The detailed schedule is communicated by the Oratory of Ghedi on its social media channels.
Ghedi is located in the province of Brescia, south of the provincial capital, accessible via the SP668 and SPBS343. The festival takes place at the Oratory and in the town center.
