The Patron Saint's Fair
The Fiera di San Valentino is one of the oldest and most beloved fairs in Terni and traditionally opens the city's fair year. It is held on the occasion of the Patron Saint's feast day, Saint Valentine, the patron saint of lovers who, according to tradition, was born in ancient Interamna.
Between Viale Trento and Via degli Oleandri
The fair takes place along Viale Trento and Via degli Oleandri, where numerous stalls are set up offering clothing, household items, gastronomic products, sweets, and crafts. For one day, the area transforms into a large open-air market, an integral part of the Saint Valentine celebrations.
In the heart of the festivities
The Fiera di San Valentino is one of the four historic fairs that the Municipality of Terni approves each year, along with the fairs of Cassero, San Matteo, and Santa Lucia. As part of the rich calendar of events for the Patron Saint, it attracts residents of Terni and visitors from all over the province of Terni and beyond, during the most symbolic period of the year for the city of love.
Fiera di San Valentino — edition 2026
The Fiera di San Valentino 2026 took place on Saturday, February 14, on the occasion of Terni's Patron Saint's feast day. Stalls were set up along Viale Trento and Via degli Oleandri, animating the area for the entire day with clothing, gastronomic products, sweets, and crafts.
The fair, included in the calendar approved by the Municipality of Terni, provided a backdrop for the civil and religious celebrations for Saint Valentine, attracting residents and visitors from across the province.
