About Fiera di Rustega
Almost half a century of livestock tradition
Since 1976, the Fiera della Zootecnia di Rustega has been the major event celebrating the primary sector in the heart of the Padua region. It takes place in the hamlet of Rustega, in Camposampiero (province of Padua), at Via Borgo Rustega 88, and for ten days it transforms the fairgrounds into a showcase for Venetian agriculture and livestock farming.
Animals, machinery, and entertainment
The heart of the fair is the exhibition of various animal species — cattle, horses, poultry — alongside innovative agricultural machinery. But the Fiera di Rustega is also about entertainment and tradition: the Gran Galà Equestre, horse races, the Haflinger competition, and the Vini in Fiera wine review enrich the program, while the food stand accompanies the evenings with local cuisine and DJ sets.
A festival for the territory
More than just a trade exhibition, the fair is a popular festival that attracts visitors from all over the Camposampiero area and the province of Padua, blending farming culture with the fun and conviviality typical of large Venetian sagre (local festivals).
Fiera di Rustega — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Fiera della Zootecnia di Rustega, the 48th since its founding in 1976, takes place in Camposampiero from April 24 to May 3. For ten days, the fairgrounds at Via Borgo Rustega 88 host exhibitions of cattle, horses, and poultry, agricultural machinery shows, performances, and gastronomic events.
Among the highlights are the Gran Galà Equestre "Armonia" (April 24-26), the horse race, the Haflinger competition, and the Vini in Fiera wine review with tastings on the weekend of May 2-3. The evenings are enlivened by DJ sets and the food stand.
