Culture takes the stage

Cologne Incontra is a series of meetings with distinguished guests that enlivens the Municipality of Cologne, in the province of Brescia, in the Franciacorta area overlooking Lake Iseo. The venue for the events is the Cristoforo Torri parish theater, which for several evenings in May becomes a place for discussion on major current issues, spanning journalism, politics, health, and society.

Leading voices

The 2026 program brings together prominent names from the national scene. It opens on May 4 with journalist Valentina Petrini and doctor Giuseppe Remuzzi, in a dialogue on the relationship between care, dignity, and suffering; on May 5, it's the turn of journalist Federico Fubini, who analyzes global scenarios and Italy's international role; the review concludes on May 14 with a meeting with Walter Veltroni, who presents his book "Il bar di Cinecittà".

A cultural network

The review is promoted by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Cologne in collaboration with Rinascimento Culturale and the Rassegna Microeditoria, organizations active in promoting books and critical thinking in the Brescia area. The meetings, scheduled for 9:00 PM, are an opportunity for the community to engage with protagonists of public debate in an atmosphere of listening and dialogue.
