Belluno's historic center becomes a giant playground

Belluno Balocchi is the most anticipated event of the year for children from Belluno and the entire province. For an entire day, the historic center of the Dolomite capital transforms into a large play village, with the city closed to traffic and the squares filled with attractions designed for families.

Over thirty wooden games and many activities

The heart of the festival is the over thirty handcrafted painted wooden games: gymkhanas, obstacle courses, precision and balance games, giant bubbles, and revisited traditional games. There is also an area dedicated to the little ones (1-2 years old). Alongside the games, there are shows of juggling, clown improvisation, and magic, strolling stilt walkers, comedic storytellers, creative workshops, wooden constructions, and face painting.

A festival for the whole family

The main squares — Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza dei Martiri, Piazza delle Erbe, and Piazza Duomo — host the various themed areas. The event, organized by the Associazione Pomi d'Ottone with the support of the Municipality of Belluno, is an opportunity to rediscover simple, quality play, far from screens, in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in the Dolomites.
