About 2 Cities 4 Run

Two historically rival cities running together: this is the spirit of 2 Cities 4 Run, the running event that on March 8, 2026, in its first edition, unites Busto Arsizio and Legnano through the Parco dell'Alto Milanese. With start and finish at the E-work Arena in Busto Arsizio, it offers four formats for every type of runner: the competitive FIDAL 10K, the amateur 10K, the Family Run, and a technical Urban Trail. An event that overcomes ancient sporting rivalries to promote unity and movement, inaugurating the Running People 2026 circuit.

Two cities, one race

2 Cities 4 Run is the new running event of 2026 in the Alto Milanese area: a race that ideally and physically unites Busto Arsizio and Legnano, two nearby and historically rival cities, through the Parco dell'Alto Milanese that connects them. An event that uses sport as an opportunity for meeting and overcoming ancient local rivalries.

Four formats for everyone

The event offers four different participation formats, designed for every type of runner:

  • 10K FIDAL competitive, the official competitive race
  • 10K amateur, non-competitive
  • Family Run — the "Butterfly Race", with volleyball activities in collaboration with UYBA Volley
  • Urban Trail, a technical course with stairs, climbs, forest sections, and a passage through the arena

From the arena to the park

The start and finish are set at the E-work Arena in Busto Arsizio, home of the local volleyball team, while the course runs through the Parco dell'Alto Milanese, the green lung between the two cities. The first edition has already registered over five hundred participants, a sign of the interest generated by the format.

The Running People circuit

2 Cities 4 Run inaugurates the Running People 2026 circuit, which involves six cities in the provinces of Varese and Milan. For Legnano, in the Province of Milan and the Lombardy Region, it is a new event that combines sport, territory, and community spirit.
